A wine of great complexity and highly characteristic of Priorat — long and expressive, with intense fruit and mineral expression.
- Varietals: 75% Grenache Noir, 25% Carignan.
- Vineyards:
Els Carners: Grenache Noir and Carignan from a century-old hillside vineyard located in the municipality of Bellmunt del Priorat, at 400 meters altitude. - Average yield per vine: 0.4 kg. This vineyard accounts for 100% of the wine.
- Vinification: Cold pre-fermentation maceration at 10 ºC for 3 days.
Alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature, with a maximum of 28 ºC in fiber tanks.
Total maceration time: 20 days. Malolactic fermentation in barrel.
- Aging: 18 months in new French oak barrels: 100% Allier.
- Production: 466 bottles.
